Antonio Conte Eyeing A Return To The Premier League
Antonio Conte seems to be a man in demand. Out of a job after his stint with Chelsea, the Italian has always been touted as a likely replacement following sackings and changes. But his radical tactical styles and an arguably more authoritative presence make him a tough man to hand reigns to.
The recent sacking of Julen Lopetegui at Real Madrid led many to speculate that the former Juventus coach would be the man to take charge at the Santiago Bernabeu.
However, player resistance may hold that particular stint at bay, and that may not even be consequential, as Conte reportedly has his eyes elsewhere.
As per Sky Sports Italia reporter Giovanni Guardalà (via Calciomercato), it is Manchester United that is on the radar of the 49-year-old.

Guardalà states: “Conte is going back to London after his holidays. There are many rumours about his future, Real Madrid is tempting him but Manchester United is a team that Conte really likes.”
Of course, it appears that personnel is the biggest inspiration behind Conte’s alleged interest, as Guardala adds: “There are players like Paul Pogba, whom he coached at Juventus. Or Alexis Sanchez, Herrera, and Lukaku, three players he’s always wanted to sign.”

All of this is allegedly the next cog in Jose Mourinho’s existing woes at Manchester United.
Even though the Old Trafford outfit was able to post a convincing 2-1 victory over Everton on Sunday, their bigger problems are still persistent, with their Premier League standing still outside the top 4, their UCL table daunted by Juventus, and player-gaffer rapport put into doubt.
In view of all this, the possibility that it will be Conte that replaces Mourinho will add further salt to the Portuguese tactician’s wounds. He and Conte have been fierce rivals, and some heated words have transpired between the duo during the latter’s tenure with Chelsea.
Is Conte United’s future?
