Man United Fans Will Love Mourinho’s Comments On Anthony Martial ‘Contract’
Anthony Martial has been showing his true potential at Manchester United in a recent run of form. The youngster has managed 4 goals in his last 4 games to impress one and all.
One figure who has been really impressed by the Frenchman is manager Jose Mourinho. And the Portuguese now wants him to extend his deal at the club. Martial’s contract ends in the summer, although United can trigger a one-year extension.
The relation between Martial and Jose hasn’t been very cordial in nature, as the player found limited chances once United signed Alexis Sanchez back in January.
And in the summer, the Frenchman’s agent, Philippe Lamboley, was quoted by RMC Sport as saying: “After thinking about all the factors and possibilities, Anthony wants to leave Manchester United.”

Jose too wasn’t happy with his form and inconsistency, but now, things have changed. Martial is enjoying his football, and Alexis’ poor form means that the former is getting to start more games.
Speaking of Martial’s future in his pre-match conference ahead of Saturday’s Premier League encounter, Mourinho admitted: “I know the club wants him very much to stay, so hopefully he is going to stay.

“One thing is that he’s a talented player that everybody knows he is – since he was in Monaco, everybody knows he was a talented player.
“Because one thing is top talent, another is top player. So, when he is now much closer to being a top player, obviously I would like him to stay.”
Martial was superb against Chelsea as well as Everton, and everyone associated with the Mancunian club would want him to play on top gear against Bournemouth as well.
