OFFICIAL: Manchester United Starlet Leaves Club
The transfer season is underway and deals are getting complete in a quick flurry. In the midst of potential big name signings populating the list, it has become commonplace for smaller transfers to go unnoticed.
However, since most of the loan deals include young prospects, one may never know which starlet being shipped off today may be the name that will dominate the transfer headlines in the seasons to come.
In that respect, Manchester United and their renowned youth academy are certainly having a busy time choosing between which players to loan out and which ones to keep for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to try and incorporate into his lineup until the end of this season.
According to the club’s official website, midfielder Ethan Hamilton has been loaned out to League One side Rochdale until the end of this season.

Rochdale are currently 18th on the league table, three points from safety, and will be eagerly hoping that the arrival of the youngster will secure their place in the third tier of English football for the next season as well.
They’ve also invested in another Ethan, having signed defender Ethan Ebanks-Landell from Wolverhampton Wanderers, also on loan.

20-year-old Hamilton made one memorable stint with the senior team in the FA Cup against Huddersfield last season, occupying the substitute’s bench in place of Paul Pogba. He is yet to make a start with the senior team, but has captained the club’s U-18s squad and made significant progress in the reserves squad as well.
A promising prospect, Kieran McKenna who coached Hamilton prior to his move up to the first team had this to say about the Scot: “With his attitude, it could certainly carry him very far in his career.”
If Solskjaer does remain in charge of the club, or if United invest in a gaffer who will promote youth talent, Hamilton is certainly a player to keep an eye out for.
