Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United has been a runaway success.
The interim manager has posted eight wins in his eight games in charge, and the United faithful are singing his name joyously, begging for the club to hand over the permanent reigns to him.
The victories against Tottenham and Arsenal are certainly the highlights of his reign. Under him, United have netted 22 goals, and are a resurgent attacking force.
Their brilliance doesn’t stop there, as the counter-attacking style that has been absent at the club from a while now is back with a vengeance.

Apart from defensive woes, the Norwegian has been doing little wrong at the club, and seems destined for great things if appointed on a full-time basis.
Even those pundits that had critiqued his lack of experience and blunt attacking style seem to have a change of heart now. Apart from that, one popular supporter is clearly in love with the way Solskjaer has been managing the Mancunian giants.
UFC star Conor McGregor tweeted this after Friday’s FA Cup win:
I see my son when I look at this. Thank you for sharing.
This is a picture from my schools “sports day”, and that infamous Grey Utd jersey, I actually bought myself with my communion money at 8 years of age.
I’d love to know where it is now.
A truly Notorious football jersey! https://t.co/1NxLZYJMXt

McGregor may have just aptly summarized what has been going through the minds of most supporters of the English powerhouse.
Solskjaer promised that even if someone else is appointed come summer, he is going to try and perform his task in a manner that even the new gaffer will hear his name being sung at the Theatre of Dreams.
The most comprehensive test of his management yet will arrive when United take on PSG in a two-leg encounter in the Champions League.
