WATCH: Pogba’s Stunned Reaction To Messi’s Opener Against Manchester United
Barcelona managed to successfully thump Manchester United 3-0 on Tuesday night, effectively sealing a place in the semi-finals of the Champions League with a 4-0 aggregate win.
Lionel Messi was the star of the show at Camp Nou, as he bagged two goals within the opening 20 minutes to hand his side a massive advantage early in the game.
The Argentine’s first goal of the night was sensational to say the least. He dispossessed a nervous Ashley Young on the right flank, before nutmegging Fred and slotting the ball past David De Gea through a sublime left-footed finish.
Fans from across the world hailed the 31-year-old’s genius on social media, whilst also highlighting a certain player’s reaction to the goal.

Manchester United talisman Paul Pogba enjoyed a close view of this curling strike, and like everyone else, he too was left absolutely stunned by Messi’s brilliance.
Twitter users were quick to point out his amazing reaction, and the bewildered look on the Frenchman’s face became one of the major talking points after the game.

Apart from his reaction, however, Pogba failed to make any notable impact on the match, and his performance against the Catalan giants was aptly summed up by former Red Devils and current Sky Sports pundit, Gary Neville.
“Pogba’s now playing how he was pre-Ole’s arrival,” Gary stated (via The Sun). “I thought he was really poor.
“Rolling his foot over the ball all the time, playing for himself, not popping it off and moving, didn’t look interested at times. But he’s a great player, and can be a great player, he just needs to get that focus back.”
