Bruno Fernandes To Man City: Guardiola’s Side Closing In On Portuguese Midfielder

Man City are in advanced talks to sign Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon.

Following 1-0 win over Leicester City, Pep Guardiola’s side are in the driving seat to defend their Premier League title.

However, the English champions aren’t resting on their laurels, and have already started work in the transfer market to fruther improve their squad.

According to multiple media reports, Man City are closing on a deal around £50m for Portuguese midfielder Bruno Fernandes.

The 24-year-old, who has bagged an impressive 31 goals and 17 assists in 50 games for Sporting, also attracted interest from Manchester United.

The two local rivals have had well-publicized battles over signings in the recent past, with the Red Devils coming out on top with the successful transfers of Alexis Sanchez and Fred.

However, this time City are likely to win the race in the transfer market.
