‘Everything Agreed’ – Juan Mata To Join European Giants In Summer
Juan Mata is prioritising a summer move to Barcelona.
The playmaker’s current contract with Manchester United is all set to expire at the end of the ongoing campaign, following which he will be a free agent.
Reports indicate that the Red Devils did offer him a one-year extension, but the Spanish international wanted a deal that lasted for two years at least.
However, failure to reach a mutual agreement means Mata is free to depart from Old Trafford come summer, and numerous sources indicate that his next preferred destination is Camp Nou.

According to Sport, Barcelona are interested in recruiting the 30-year-old due to the convenient nature of this potential signing.
There have already been talks between the two parties, and the midfielder’s agent was spotted visiting the La Liga club’s offices on numerous occasions.
The Spanish news outlet adds that almost everything has been agreed between the club and the player, but the final details of this deal will be discussed after Barcelona‘s Champions League campaign comes to a close.
An important aspect of these negotiations will be the length of the deal, with Mata wanting a two-year contract with an option to extend for a further year.
The former Chelsea superstar has various offers on his table, but joining the Catalan giants remains his topmost priority.
