‘Everything Indicates’ That Man Utd Will Try To Sign Bruno Fernandes
Manchester United are expected to outbid Man City in the race to sign Bruno Fernandes.
The Sporting CP midfielder has attracted enormous interest from all across Europe, but the two giants from Manchester have been the frontrunners in this pursuit all along.
Initial reports suggested that the Cityzens had agreed an €80m plus Douglas Luiz deal for Fernandes, but now, this update is being claimed as ‘all false’.
Instead, Portuguese newspaper A Bola (via SportWitness) has provided a contrary development regarding this transfer story.
As per the new report, Manchester City are currently the highest bidders for the 24-year-old, having submitted an offer worth €55m for his services.

However, Sporting remain as patient as ever, as they expect a huge auction for their Portuguese superstar in the weeks to come.
According to the source, ‘everything indicates’ that Manchester United will soon be tabling their own bid, which will ‘naturally’ be bigger than the one submitted by their local rivals.
Red Devils’ boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is supposedly a huge admirer of Fernandes, and the Norwegian sees the playmaker as the ideal candidate to take over the number 10 jersey at Old Trafford next season.
A Bola also claim that the Red Devils might just steal a march on their neighbours and get this signing done as soon as possible, by taking advantage of the Sky Blues being occupied with celebrations of their Premier League title win.
