Ajax Midfielder Donny van de Beek Wants ‘A Move To United Or Spurs’
Over the years Ajax have really established themselves as the prime hub of brilliant youngsters. The Dutch side nearly made it to the finals of the UEFA Champions League last season with a roster that was teeming with players who were still at the beginning of their youth.
Precedents set by Frenkie de Jong and now with the ongoing Matthijs de Ligt saga have shown that big transfer fees will have to be brought to the table in order for these starlets to move clubs.
However, the Eredivisie often ceases to be a popular and challenging platform for these stars and they go seeking for bigger goals. Now, one of the youngsters from Ajax may be set for a Premier League move.
Dutch football expert Marcel van der Kraan says that Ajax star Donny van de Beek is seeking a move to either Manchester United or Tottenham Hotspurs.

Speaking to The Sports Breakfast, van der Kraan states: “Van de Beek has his eyes set on the Premier League. He is a proper Premier League player with an Ajax education and can play in many positions in the midfield.”
He goes on to add: “He wants a move to Manchester United or Spurs and his agent says if that materializes that would be right up his street.”
United are certainly in the market for a midfielder of his caliber and are presently pursuing Bruno Fernandes in that regard. However, the recurring issue of not having Champions League football to offer may also plague the side here as Spurs have an upper edge there.
The 22-year-old has been linked to numerous clubs over the weeks with the likes of Liverpool, Roma, and Inter in the fray to sign him. Spurs were believed to be pursuing his signature already and this desire may further the saga towards White Hart Lane.
