Man Utd In Talks With Agent Of Youri Tielemans – Solskjaer Likes The Midfielder

There have been a flurry of players linked to Manchester United over the past weeks and some major moves are expected of the club before the start of July. The trends and speculations seem to indicate that the Red Devils are looking at a variety of players in several positions.

The uncertainty surrounding some of the players presently in their roster is also complicating matters heavily with the club reportedly eager for confirmed departures before going in for new deals.

As of such, the futures of Paul Pogba, David De Gea, and Romelu Lukaku will have a massive bearing on the business they commit to for the rest of the window.

For the time being, however, United are interested in a promising talent.

According to HLN journalist Kristof Terreur, United have held talks with the agent of Youri Tielemans over a possible transfer.

The 22-year-old has been a promising talent and impressed immensely during his loan spell at Leicester City.

His parent club Monaco may be open to a deal as the player himself has no intention of returning to France but the Foxes are thought to be keen on retaining his services after the manner in which he flourished in the Premier League.

United have been linked with him in the past, but their present interest may have extra weight considering that Tottenham Hotspur have allegedly given up on trying to sign the Belgian.

Further, it is believed that this isn’t a new interest from the Red Devils and that they have been in touch with Tielemans’ representatives for a while now.

What may add more leverage to this interest from the Mancunian giants is that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a keen admirer of the Belgian. As of such, this could play quite well into his rebuild at Old Trafford.
