Wayne Rooney has sent a message to Manchester United’s soon-to-be signing, Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
The talented right-back is all set to make the switch from Crystal Palace to the Old Trafford club, with only a medical examination keeping this deal from official announcement.
The final transfer fee for the 21-year-old could rise up to £55 million, which would make him the most expensive English defender of all time.
Wan-Bissaka will also be Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s second signing for Manchester United, with the Norwegian now recruiting up-and-coming youngsters that will remain a mainstay in the team for the long term.
With this move expected to be done and dusted within the next 48 hours, Wan-Bissaka has already been on the receiving end of some valuable advice from one of the biggest legends of his new club.
Manchester United‘s record goal-scorer and former captain Wayne Rooney has sent a welcome message to his fellow Englishman, telling him precisely what to do once he completes his switch to the Theatre of Dreams.
“You have to embrace it, embrace the culture of United. Learn the history and do your best. I’m sure he’ll be fine. The coaches there will be telling him all of this.”
