Manchester United kicked off their pre-season tour of Australia with a routine 2-0 win over Perth Glory.

Academy graduates Marcus Rashford and Sean Garnier found the back of the net in the second half, as a majority of the squad got onto the pitch to regain their regular fitness levels.

Despite the game being a pre-season friendly, fans were heavily impressed by the performances of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s two new summer signings.

While Daniel James’ pace and penetration earned him the Man of the Match award, Aaron Wan-Bissaka came close to being the best performer himself through his defensive presence and sublime slide tackles.
