Aaron Wan-Bissaka has revealed his toughest opponent in Manchester United training.

The full-back has been sensational since his big-money move to Old Trafford from Crystal Palace, having wowed one and all with his performances and defensive skills, especially his exceptional slide tackles.

While he has been facing some world-class opponents ever since the pre-season tour kicked off, the Englishman has now admitted that he gets ample practice facing top players on a regular basis in training.

Speaking to the club’s official website, Wan-Bissaka shed light on the training sessions as well as the toughest forward he has faced at the AON Training Complex.

“I’m up against Anthony [Martial] a lot,” said Wan-Bissaka. “It’s tough, but you take the positives. It helps both of us.

“Playing against someone with quick feet like him, you can’t not learn. Our attackers have all got a lot of pace, so you just have to be concentrated and focused for their next move all the time.”

The 21-year-old further revealed how the senior players in the squad, especially Paul Pogba, have helped him settle seamlessly at the Theatre of Dreams.

“The older players help me a lot,” he added. “Paul Pogba has advised me a lot. That first game in Perth, he was telling me the same thing everyone has: you’re here for a reason, play your game, play without fear, get up and down – that’s what I put into my head.”
