Man United Considering January Move For Emre Can
Manchester United are considering a January move for Emre Can, report Sky Sports.
After spending four seasons at Liverpool, the German midfielder completed his free transfer to Juventus last summer. Despite making a decent start to life in Turin, however, he has now fallen out of favour under new boss Maurizio Sarri.
Amid his difficult situation at the Italian club, where he is yet to start a game this term, Manchester United have expressed their interest in securing his services. While not their top target, the report suggests the Red Devils are monitoring him closely.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already indicated that his side is open to recruiting apt players in the winter transfer window, and Can could very likely be one of the arrivals.
Back in September, the 25-year-old had expressed his desire to part ways with the Old Lady outfit, after having left out of their Champions League squad for the ongoing campaign.

“The fact that I am not in the Champions League squad is extremely shocking for me, mainly because I was promised something different last week,” Can had said in September.
“I had talks with other clubs [in the summer] and one of the conditions for me to stay was to be part of the Champions League squad. Then they phoned me and told me, in a conversation that didn’t even last a minute, that I was not on the list and they didn’t give an explanation.
“That makes me angry and furious, they haven’t been honest with me. If I knew about it earlier, I would not have stayed at Juventus.”
The ex-Bayern Munich starlet has since apologised for his statement and refrained from making any further comments, but that does not change the fact that his situation at Juve remains far from favourable.
