Red Bull Salzburg forward Erling Braut Haaland could be available for a discounted fee this January.
The prolific forward has bagged 27 goals in his last 20 games, with his goalscoring antics attracting the interest of some of the biggest clubs on the continent.
Manchester United, in particular, have been heavily linked with the 19-year-old, due to the youngster’s relationship with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The Red Devils’ boss was responsible for launching Haaland at their former club Molde, and their past work experience could reunite them once again, this time at Old Trafford.
Last month, reports in Germany suggested the youngster had a €30 million release clause in his RB Salzburg contract.
Now, Bild (via Sports Witness) have claimed that the player could be available for even lesser, with the clause actually being worth €20 million.
Along with Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund also seem to be heavily interested in the striker, and the discounted transfer fee shall provide a boost for all interested parties.
Reports from the previous week had claimed that the Mancunians are actively watching Haaland through their scouting network, while sources in Spain have already handed them an upper hand due to Solskjaer’s influence over the teenager.
