Erling Braut Haaland has sent Manchester United fans into a meltdown.

The Norwegian rose to stardom due to his unbelievable goalscoring record. Haaland has scored an incredible 28 goals in 22 appearances this season across all competitions, including 8 in the Champions League. The striker has also been named as the Norwegian Footballer of the Year, making him the youngest player ever to be honoured by the award.

It is no surprise that the RB Salzburg man is wanted by the very best in Europe. Juventus and Manchester United are said to be keen on the teenager.

It was reported last week that Borussia Dortmund had contacted the Salzburg man over a potential move. Which immediately prompted Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to fly to Austria and personally propose the idea of moving to Old Trafford. It is believed that the United boss’ ties with Molde will be advantageous to his side.

Although, the forward has a very small release clause, the fact that so many clubs are interested may start a bidding war which may rise up to the region of £80 million.

The Red Devils see the youngster as their top target for the January transfer window and are ready to break the bank for him. And according to the Sun, the Old Trafford outfit are confident of securing a £76 million deal that will see him loaned back to Salzburg for the rest of the season.

However, seems like things have gotten significantly easier for the Mancunians after the 19-year-old was pictured signing a Manchester United kit on his social media page. The post has sent fans into a frenzy as they speculate this is a sign that he is interested in joining their club.

Unfortunately, that image was followed up images of the former Molde man signing several other shirts, including a Napoli one. So it does not exactly look like any hint towards a move he prefers.
