Man United Could Win The Race To Sign Erling Haaland ‘In One Week’
Manchester United’s upcoming pursuits have left a lot of questions hanging in the balance. Even though the club enjoys great spells of games, like the incredible run they had up until the 1-1 draw to Everton on Sunday, larger problems still persist.
Even when injuries don’t plague them, United are lacking in quality in crucial regions. The central attacking midfielder is the obvious region where the Red Devils don’t currently possess a world-class talent unless Ole Gunnar Solskjaer decides to field Paul Pogba there.
Further still, the forward line is also stretched thin, with strikers, in particular, being not too abundant. Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood are the only true strikers left to United’s disposal and Martial’s form has been sporadic and prone to injury and Greenwood is often deemed to be too young to start regularly.
As of such, the club has been largely linked to backup strikers in the winter window, ranging from veterans to upcoming names.
Erling Braut Haaland is the obvious talent that United have been linked with. Negotiations for the Norwegian striker have reportedly reached advanced stages.

However, the Bild (via SportsWitness) alleges that the youngster himself wants his future to be decided and finalized by Christmas. As of such, it is presumed that he and his representatives will finalize a destination and path for the future in the week to come and that will lead to further official pieces of business early on in January once the winter transfer window commences.
The report adds that United aren’t the sole pursuers of his signature with German club RB Leipzig are also eager to sign him and confirmed meetings having occurred between the player’s representatives and the top brass of the club in order to tempt him to shift.
Other claims even put Borussia Dortmund into the picture as a deeply interested party.
What step will the starlet take about his future?
