Following their hyped victory against Newcastle held earlier this week, Manchester United have secured another win Saturday, even maintaining a clean sheet in the process.

The 2-0 triumph enjoyed by the Mancunians featured late goals from Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford in first and second half of the exciting game respectively.

Nevertheless, Paul Pogba was impressed by the build up which led to the first goal, especially Andreas Periera’s role in it.

The Frenchman has been rather late in recovering from a foot injury which saw him being sidelined since September. The talented midfielder has made a few insignificant appearances in the last month of 2019, although he’s far from being back to his prime form with Solskjær clearly holding the 26-year-old back.

The Red Devils initially ascertained their supremacy in the final moments of the first half at Turf Moor. Periera elegantly dispossessed the opposition’s Charlie Taylor near the touchline followed by a clean through ball into the path of Anthony Martial, which the forward had no trouble in finishing at the end.

Pogba was following the game held at Turf Moor as he seem to have posted a video of himself featuring a reaction to his side’s first-half goal in Instagram.

“What a legend, what a pass, finish!” was heard being said by the Frenchman as he uploaded the footage with the caption: “Tiki taka legend to Martiaaaaaaaall”.
