What Paul Pogba Thinks Of New United Signing Bruno Fernandes
Paul Pogba has been watching Bruno Fernandes and has strong opinions about him, according to ESPN.
The Frenchman has been out injured since Manchester United’s 4-1 triumph over Newcastle on Boxing Day. The former Juventus man is yet to make an appearance since then, stagnating at a meagre 8 appearances and 2 assists this season.
Things wouldn’t have been dire earlier in the season if Scott McTominay had managed to stay fit, after which United’s midfield was weakened significantly. Fortunately, Fred stepped up following his underwhelming spell last season.
However, clearly relying on one player in midfield isn’t a good plan in the long-run, which is why the Red Devils splashed their cash on Fernandes.

Which has clearly worked out for them as the former Sporting Lisbon superstar has already recorded 5 goal contributions in 6 appearances since his arrival. Often times, the midfielder has been his side’s best player and is the one looking to make things happen.
And his efforts haven’t gone unnoticed as Pogba has reportedly been closely monitoring his new colleague’s progress at Old Trafford.

On the other hand, there are doubts over whether the French international walks back into the starting XI, considering Fred, McTominay and the Portuguese international have only impressed with their time together. The trio haven’t set a foot wrong in recent memory, and displacing one of them during this great run of form might prove to be a difficult task, even for the world champion.
Nevertheless, it is said that the French midfielder believes he can make it back into the team and is looking to form a formidable partnership with the new arrival, despite rumours surrounding his future.
It seems like it will come down to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s preferences at the end of the day and/or based on where Pogba’s future is headed.
