Two Man United Players That Are ‘Impossible To Get Near’ In Training
Manchester United’s identity as a football club has always hinged on their collective brilliance. The impeccable antics of their individual superstars have always been imbibed within the larger ethos of the outfit.
Regardless, they have always been one to add to the ace skills that their players bring to the table. As such, individual feats of excellence like an eye for goal, creative presence, and speed have stood out at Old Trafford.
Now, Brandon Williams’ latest claims from the training pitch paints a flattering picture of two of his teammates with regard to their speed.
Speaking to BT Sport, the young left back had the following to say about Paul Pogba: “You’re not getting near him, his arms are so strong he’s so tall.
“You won’t see the ball all you see is the guy in front of you and he’ll be gone. He’ll turn you and shoot and just do whatever he does because he’s got all the skills.”
Certainly sounds like the Frenchman that United fans adore and have sorely missed for much of this campaign.
Williams himself is a pacey player, an ability that certainly aided swift rise to an almost regular role in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s lineup.
However, the 19-year-old’s words for the true pace maestro at United, Daniel James, speaks volumes: “He’s unbelievably quick, it’s impossible to get near him, he will leave you.”
Fans will certainly be eager to see the fast players in action once Premier League football resumes on June 17. Given that the season has to be ended in a short period of time, it wouldn’t be surprising if the games themselves fly past just as fast as the players.
