The mark of any good team and manager depends on how the best use of the talents at hand are made. With diverse skillsets and specific abilities often overlapping, it is the onus of the manager to step in and place players in their optimum positions.

This becomes especially difficult when versatility is on the cards and multiple big names are vying for the same spot.

Such appears to be the case at Man United with regard to their attacking midfield setup.

However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may have found the solution to this which could be incorporated going forward.

As per the Sun, Man United will have Pogba functioning as their no.10. This is based on the inter-squad training matches that the Red Devils have been having at Old Trafford ahead of matchday resumption from June 17.

In the weekend’s game, Pogba was allegedly in an attacking spot behind the striker in the lineup in which he played.

As such, it is expected that the Norwegian gaffer will award the Frenchman that role on a regular basis going forward. The obvious caveat here is that Bruno Fernandes will be shifted slightly deeper to a traditional no.8 role, as per the report.

This is certainly intriguing speculation given that Pogba is still in the midst of exit-bound rumours. However, it seems certain that Solskjaer is adamant on keeping hold of the former Juventus star.

In a way, such a lineup would make sense as Fernandes did not precisely fit the role of a natural no.10 and would be more creative in an altered style.

Of course, any test of this lineup will have to face the baptism of a Premier League matchday as the two midfield maestros are yet to share the pitch professionally.
