Jadon Sancho to Man Utd is in a pivotal stage right now.

Many murmurs have been doing the rounds in the past few hours regarding the latest updates on the summer’s most talked-about transfer saga.

A huge chunk of the same has to do with how a transfer fee for the 20-year-old is yet to be agreed on between the two clubs and that the negotiating aspect of the same is on the verge of wrapping up.

Now, Fabrizio Romano, in a popular update, has confirmed nearly all of the recent stories on the Sancho saga with his latest tweet.

As per it, the deal is in its advanced stages. This is likely on part of United deciding that it would be better to move forward and seal the saga in this state itself, giving Ole Gunnar Solskjær and company plenty of time to train and familiarize with the player, a tactic that Chelsea have already adopted.

Further, the pay structure aspect is in line with reports suggesting that the total transfer fee will be spread apart over a period of years with a significant chunk of it to be paid up-front.

However, Romano’s update did stress on the “add-ons” part which is an aspect of negotiation that allegedly didn’t go down too well during recent transfers of United. Sancho is understood to be “waiting” on the entire progress at this vital point.

The “advanced stage” aspect is also in line with Dortmund really pushing the Red Devils towards finishing the deal by August 10, due to the need for landing a replacement following the starlet’s departure. The report does mention Mephis Depay as a possible name in that regard.

However, it does appear that despite the fact that no agreement is in place, the whole transfer will take place a little earlier than that given the progress, although an official announcement is likely to be delayed further in order to make the eventual unveiling a grand affair.
