Edinson Cavani has certainly been warming into his role at Manchester United, which has become predictably sporadic and reserved to cameos.

Nevertheless, the Uruguayan international has had his fair share of football across Europe and this Premier League stint comes at the back of valued experience.

The roster at Old Trafford has a lot to learn from the 33-year-old and it is evident that the youthful forwards, in particular, will be eager to garner a trick or two about effective finishing.

However, in another regard, it is Cavani who seems to be doing the learning.

As per United Review, Juan Mata is helping out Cavani in settling into Manchester. In particular, the Spaniard is giving assistance in translating.

Mata reveals: “Of course, he is getting used to the English language so I am trying to translate for him. There are a few of us that can do it and I am happy to do so.”

The 32-year-old, himself a veteran in his own right, is also aiding the former-PSG man to adjust himself to the gruelling weather of Manchester with the rains providing a baptism of their own.

All in all, Mata, like many of the United players, seems to be well pleased with the quality and experience added via Cavani and is likely to hope for more from the man.

He says so himself when he adds: “Hopefully he’ll keep scoring, like he did against Everton. Everyone knows his qualities so I’m not going to only discover now where Edinson Cavani is in the football world.”

It will be interesting to see what else the striker’s time with Ole Gunnar Solskjær and company brings to the Premier League side in the months to come.
