What Man Utd Fans Are Saying About Pogba After Defeat vs RB Leipzig
RB Leipzig end this season’s Champions League journey for Man Utd, as they qualify alongside PSG for the next stage of the competition.
The Red Devils conceded two goals within the first 13 minutes, and failed to find any rhythm in the first-half at the Red Bull Arena.
During the second-half, the Norwegian tactician changed his side’s setup and and replaced Nemanja Matic with Paul Pogba. The French midfielder, despite his 25-yard equaliser against West Ham on weekend, was not part of the starting XI against Leipzig on Tuesday night.
Although Solskjaer said it was a tactical decision in his pre-match interview, the comments made from Mino Raiola, Pogba’s agent, would’ve only made the manager’s decision easier.
Raiola revealed that his client does not want to extend his contract at Old Trafford. Both, the announcement, and it’s timing, caused a stir on Monday, just 24 hours before Man Utd’s most crucial game of the campaign.
“I think the timing is disgusting. Ole, Woodward, how are you allowing an agent to talk like this?”
“Pogba needs to tell him to shut up, or sack him!”

Nevertheless, this seemingly didn’t affect the 27-year-old’s game, as his second-half cameo nearly engineered another late come-back for Solskjaer in the Champions League.

17 passes completed (77%)
5 recoveries
3/4 duels won
3/4 long passes completed

Paul Pogba cares more about Manchester United than most of these doughnuts it’s one of the reasons he came back. How can you even blame him for wanting to leave he’s 28 in 6 months.

It says it all when Paul Pogba, who’s agent came out last night and said he wants to leave, gave more efforts in that game than the majority of the team.

Man Utd take on Man City next, and it’ll be interesting to see whether or not Pogba starts in the derby.
The Frenchman spearheaded an incredible 3-2 come-back win with a brace at the Etihad in 2018. Incidentally, in a press conference before that big fixture, City manager Pep Guardiola revealed that his side were offered Paul Pogba by Mino Raiola.
