Mauricio Pochettino has been appointed as the new PSG head coach following the sacking of Thomas Tuchel – four months after the French giants played in the Champions League final under the German.

The Argentine tactician was also sacked few months after taking Tottenham Hotspur to the Champions League final in 2019, and has returned to management after over a year.

His overall time in London is seen in a much more positive light than that of Tuchel’s – especially his relationship with Spurs players, and hence it is expected that Pochettino will look to reunite with some of his key men at the Parc des Princes.

As per the Sun, the former Tottenham boss is interested in bringing Hugo Lloris to French capital in the summer, and it will be tough for the English outfit to keep the goalkeeper in London, as he has only one year left on his current deal.

Accordingly, Jose Mourinho’s side are looking for potential replacements, and Man Utd goalkeeper Dean Henderson is reported to be one of their targets alongside West Brom’s Sam Johnstone.

The Portuguese, similar to his Argentine counterpart, could reunite with one of his former players, should Man Utd agree to sell Dean Henderson to their Premier League rivals.

Although during Mourinho’s reign at Old Trafford, Henderson spent most of his time on loan in the lower leagues, the opportunity to become a first-choice goalkeeper at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium could persuade him to work with the 57-year-old again.

The English goalkeeper has failed to replace David de Gea up until now, but if Lloris departs to Ligue 1, there won’t be any direct competition between the sticks at Spurs.
