The Similarity Between Lindelof And Kroos’ Pass Is Unreal

Manchester United continued their Europa League tryst in strong fashion on Thursday.

The Red Devils visited Granada adamant to make a good impact and they certainly achieved that via Marcus Rashford’s goal and Bruno Fernandes’ late penalty in the 2-0 encounter.

The feat that Ole Gunnar Solskjær will be most eager about is the two away goals netted, which is arguably more important than keeping a cleansheet in the picture of the larger tie.

As such, despite suspensions for the likes of Harry Maguire, Scott McTominay, and Luke Shaw for the home leg, United still remain favourites to go through.

While the Premier League giants will be gutted at functioning in the lesser European leg, a facet of their game did share the same heroics as the ones that the Champions League saw recently.

Rashford’s first-half goal certainly had a sublime build-up with Victor Lindelof’s long pass from deep in the defense finding the forward perfectly for him to bury it in the back of the net.

Fans were ecstatic at the shot and many took particular notice of the Swede’s pass, as it reminded them of an effort from not too long ago.

The pass and the eventual goal had an eerie similarity to the Champions League encounter between Real Madrid and Liverpool from earlier in the week.

In that particular game, it was Toni Kroos who delivered a sublime long pass which Vinicius Junior made no mistake in volleying into the goal.

This was certainly a good spot and now supporters will be hoping that United will carry the same momentum into the second leg that Madrid are hyped to take into Anfield, even though they conceded an away goal.

Further, this was Rashford’s 20th strike of the season and he will certainly be hungry to add more to the tally.
