Man Utd did cement their second place for a good bit with their 3-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

The Red Devils did what they do best, reclaiming all three points despite being in a losing position in the first-half.

Fred’s goal was a massive breath of relief for Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s men, who would have still been sour about the disallowed Edinson Cavani goal that ought to have been the opener.

Regardless, the Uruguayan striker did get his chance and a firm header into the back of the net saw the game go 2-1. Mason Greenwood waited until the last minute of added time to add further salt onto Jose Mourinho’s wounds making it 3-1 with his far from trepid finishing.

Fans were elated at the win and were particularly pleased with some of the Red Devils’ antics as they were celebrating.

The one that generated the most amount of response was Bruno Fernandes’ playful shove of Fred seconds after the Brazilian had netted the all-important equalizer.

The sight of the midfielder smiling was met with the sudden twist of the push from the Portuguese player which generated plenty of memes and jokes.

Further, Cavani’s post-goal celebration was also the source of ample reactions. The striker was quite passionate.

However, for Fred’s goal too Cavani was all smiles and the intensity of the celebration said it all, particularly since it came off of a rebound shot of his.

Solskjær will be very pleased with such passions between his players and will be hoping to convert it into a strong finish to the campaign, particularly with an eye for the Europa League title.
