Bruno Fernandes Reacts To Amad Diallo’s Brilliant Free Kick For Ivory Coast
Ivory Coast snatched a late win against Burkina Faso as Man United’s Amad Diallo fired them to victory.
Lassina Traore opened the scoring early into the first half, but it proved to be not enough ultimately as Ibrahim Sangare levelled the scoreline. The tie remained even until the seventh minute of added time when the home side were awarded a free kick right outside the penalty box.
The set-piece was scrumptiously finished off by Diallo who curled one into the top corner.
Your first-ever international goal being a winner is something special, especially having done it in style.
The teenager broke into the Ivory Coast team only this year, but has already left an impression. The winger also opened his goalscoring account at United not too long ago, having scored against AC Milan earlier this season.
It seems like the youngster is growing very well as a player – after all, he has very good influence around him. One of them being Bruno Fernandes, who had an exchange with his fellow teammate on social media following his free kick goal.
“Happy for my first goal,” read the caption of the young prospect’s post.
Fernandes was seen replying with: “But you were wrong.” To which the 18-year-old replied: “You taught me that.”
It is apparent that the pair have been discussing set-pieces during their time at Carrington.
Given the quality of the Portuguese international, there couldn’t be a better player to learn under in Manchester. It is safe to say that the Ivory Coast international is in safe hands when it comes to mentors.
