Manchester United’s alleged improved bid for Jadon Sancho has been regarded as unsatisfactory by Borussia Dortmund.

The Bundesliga outfit continue to maintain their tough transfer stance, refusing to budge even a little from their high valuation for Sancho.

On Saturday, it was reported that the Red Devils returned with an improved proposal – worth more than £75m. The structure of the new offer would see Dortmund receive more up front with the rest in achievable add-ons.

However, if Chief reporter for Sport1 Patrick Berger were to believed, United have once again fallen short of Dortmund’s asking price for the 21-year-old.

In fact, the decision-makers at the German club believe the English side don’t know ‘how good Sancho really is’. It seems people involved in negotiations are getting peeved, which is understandable due to the long-drawn nature of negotiations.

Nevertheless, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have admired the talented right-winger for a long time. The Man City academy graduate has been on their radar ever since he decided to leave Pep Guardiola’s side back in 2017.

Perhaps, rather than Sancho’s quality, the Premier League giants are more wary of paying extra for a player whose contract expires in just two years.

Further, this time there’s a willingness from everyone involved in this deal to find an agreement. It seems both United and Dortmund are just testing each other’s resolve before coming to terms on a final fee.
