Jadon Sancho has finally had the chance to train with Bruno Fernandes, who has returned to Manchester following the Euros.

The Portuguese international returned right around the climax of Manchester United’s preseason after his extended holidays. It was relatively late before the midfielder got to meet his new teammates. He seemed especially excited about playing with Sancho judging from his social media activities.

And from the looks of it, it was worth the wait as the Englishman revealed their link-up in training was very positive.

The former Borussia Dortmund man sat down with club legend Rio Ferdinand for an interview where he talked about his experience so far at Carrington.

Ferdinand brought up Cristiano Ronaldo and his hunger on the training ground and quizzed the new arrival if he wants to follow the same approach. To which Sancho agreed and added how he can see the same mentality as Ronaldo in Fernandes.

“Today we were on the same team, and we just linked up very well,” the England international continued.

“Me and him love winning. I’m glad me and Bruno have the same mindset.”

The former United defender was delighted to hear the new signing is getting along well with the club’s talisman responding with “That’s what I like to hear, that’s what I like to hear,” as he grinned.

On the other hand, fans also will be delighted to hear positive news about the players’ interactions behind the scenes. Moreover, it would be very encouraging for the supporters to hear that a new signing has a very solid mentality.

Sancho’s debut is just around the corner, meaning the Old Trafford crowd will finally get to see the link-up live.
