“He’s Just A Machine” – Twitter Reacts As Cristiano Ronaldo Scores On His United Debut
Cristiano Ronaldo has already opened his goal-scoring account as he awarded Manchester United the lead against Newcastle United.
United seemed to struggle in their attempts to dominate Newcastle during the first half. Mason Greenwood was one of the stand-out performers in the first 45 minutes, and it was from the rebound of his shot that the Portuguese international was able to score the first goal of his second spell.
Ronaldo’s notorious movement in the box was on perfect display at Old Trafford this afternoon as he pounced instinctively onto the ball which Freddie Woodman parried. The veteran, delighted with his goal, proceeded to celebrate with his iconic “Suii” celebration.
Old Trafford went absolutely ballistic watching their legend return and make an instant impact. The fact that the goal came on the cusp of half-time made it even sweeter. Fans on social media especially had amusing reactions.
He is just a machine. Staggering. #Ronaldo

All these pundits were doing this edgy doubting of Ronaldo just for him to score in the first half of his debut. The guy is inevitable, when will they ever learn.

Although watching the supporters celebrate gleefully in the stadium is one of the best sights in football, the reactions one can find on Twitter have their own humourous flavour.
The former Real Madrid man clearly took no time to adjust back to English football and seems set to become an asset to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side over the course of this season. Moreover, fans will only continue to grow their love for him.
Meanwhile, this begs the question of who has to take the fall and accept the bench after Marcus Rashford’s eventual return from surgery. With Jadon Sancho and the Portuguese international looking very likely to be guaranteed starters, the choice will have to be made between Greenwood and Rashford.
