How Marcus Rashford Reacted To Cristiano Ronaldo’s Debut Goals vs Newcastle
Cristiano Ronaldo reciprocated the grand welcome he got from a full house at Old Trafford by scoring a brace against Newcastle United.
The Theatre of Dreams erupted as the prodigal son opened his account for the much-awaited second act just at the cusp of the first-half. Steve Bruce’s side fought back to equalise via Javier Manquillo, a former Real Madrid academy player, after the break.
Ronaldo was not going to let anyone spoil his special day, as he restored Manchester United’s lead by putting the ball into the back of the net through Freddie Woodman’s legs in front of the Stretford End.
Marcus Rashford wasn’t in the lineup or in attendance at Old Trafford, as he continues his recovery, but made sure to not miss a minute of the game.
His reactions to both of Ronaldo’s goals were one of a fan and a player, who has continously tried to replicate the club’s iconic number 7’s antics since his academy days.

The Red Devils added two more goals before full-time to cap off a memorable afternoon for the home crowd.
The big win put United on top of the Premier League table, but more importantly, Ronaldo’s age-defying display in the competition after a record-breaking gap of 12 years and 118 days would’ve restored a sense of confidence in young stars like Rashford to challenge for the title.
