Rashford Considering His Future At United – PSG Want To Sign Him
Marcus Rashford is considering his future amid lack of game time at Manchester United.
The Englishman wasn’t started by Ralf Rangnick in United’s 4-1 defeat in the Manchester derby despite the absence of both Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani.
Ahead of the derby, Rangnick said the 24-year-old has got everything for a ‘modern striker’, but the interim boss opted to start Bruno Fernandes as a false number nine on Sunday afternoon.
He came off the bench in the second half but couldn’t make any impact as United managed zero shots after the break.
It is believed Rashford is now considering his future, and wants clarity from the club. He maintains a good relationship with Rangnick, but hasn’t enjoyed playing on the right flank under the German tactician, as he prefers playing on the left.
As per The Times, PSG are interested in the England international, who has 16 months left on his contract. Although United have an option to extend the current deal by a year.
The Ligue 1 giants will look for a new forward if Kylian Mbappe departs at the end of the season.
However, United will wait for a new manager before taking any decision on such a high-profile name. Interestingly, current PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino might end up having a big say on Rashford’s future. Whether from the French capital or Manchester, remains to be seen.
