Man Utd Considering To Sign Premier League Forward On Loan – Player Ready To Move
Man Utd have missed out on signing multiple first-choice targets for Erik ten Hag, and find themselves in a face saving mode.
As the summer transfer window nears end, Ten Hag has still not been given a new midfielder, a forward, a right-back, and a backup goalkeeper.
The Dutch coach’s favourites Frenkie de Jong and Antony are more likely to remain at Barcelona and Ajax respectively than move to Old Trafford this summer, forcing the United hierarchy to chase alternative targets.
As per The Athletic, United are considering to sign Chelsea forward Christian Pulisic on loan. The USMNT captain can play in all positions across the front three, and the Red Devils appreciate such versatility, especially considering how limited their options are upfront.
Pulisic is frustrated with his lack of opportunities under Thomas Tuchel, and is looking for regular game time ahead of the 2022 World Cup. The German boss has already added Raheem Sterling to his attack and is trying to bring in Anthony Gordon from Everton as well.
Chelsea are open to listen to loan offers, with Newcastle United, Juventus and Atletico also monitoring his situation at Stamford Bridge.
However, the 23-year-old would prefer to join Ten Hag’s side. United considered signing Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund before he moved to Chelsea in 2019.
