Manchester United have done pretty well to ensure Erik ten Hag gets at least three new signings before the end of pre-season, with Ramus Hojlund set to be the latest name to join his ranks after the Premier League side reached an agreement with Atalanta.
The Atalanta forward has signed a five-year deal with United and is expected to be unveiled on Saturday, when the Red Devils welcome RC Lens to Old Trafford for their seventh pre-season friendly.
The club’s hierarchy has been very active with regard to outgoings as well, permanently cutting ties with as many as seven players this summer so far. But there are still plenty of talents at Carrington that are unlikely to play regularly for United next season and could benefit from a loan move elsewhere. Having said that, one potential loan spell has been ruled out following an unfortunate injury on the pre-season tour.
Amad Diallo to stay at Manchester United
Amad Diallo returned to United after enjoying a brilliant loan stint under Tony Mowbray at Sunderland. His impressive performance in the Championship also led to a ticket to the U.S. for the pre-season tour.
The Ivorian was expected to spend another season away from United after the end of the pre-season. However, after suffering a knee injury that is set to force him to sit on the sidelines for the first part of the Premier League season, the 21-year-old is set to continue at his parent club.
