Three Bundesliga clubs interested in Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag
Erik ten Hag will not be short on offers if he’s allowed to leave Manchester United by the club’s new hierarchy.
INEOS, who are currently focused on reshaping the football structure at Old Trafford, are yet to publicly suggest they intend to also make a change at the helm.
At the same time, they’ve not chosen to assure Ten Hag will remain in charge of the Red Devils beyond this season. Their decision to remain tight-lipped on his long-term future is understandable considering United have surprised fans and pundits alike with their inconsistent performances.
United currently sit below Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa in the Premier League table. However, last weekend they showed they are capable of beating any team on their day.
Ten Hag’s men stunned Liverpool, knocking Jurgen Klopp’s men out of the FA Cup by sealing a 4-3 win.
Manchester United manager is still admired by many European clubs
Amid these inconsistent showings, many managers have been linked with United to potentially replace the Dutch coach come the end of the season.
A report in The Sun suggest United are targeting England gaffer Gareth Southgate to take over the managerial role at Old Trafford.
However, if Ten Hag is shown the exit door, it shouldn’t be very tough for him to find a new job. It’s understood the former Ajax boss could be chased by three clubs in the Bundesliga if he departs United this summer.

Bayern Munich, who are in the market for Thomas Tuchel’s replacement, have been monitoring Ten Hag’s situation.
Further, Bayer Leverkusen and VfB Stuttgart are also interested in the 54-year-old coach. The former are expected to search for a new manager with Xabi Alonso attracting interest from Europe’s biggest clubs.
