Manchester United are nearing the signing of Joshua Zirkzee, having allegedly agreed terms with the Bologna striker.
Under Mikel Arteta’s tutelage, Arsenal have established themselves as one of the most attractive clubs in Europe, thanks to their dominating style of football.
The next obvious step for the Spaniard is to win the Premier League or the Champions League. To further strengthen his side, Arteta is looking for a new goal-scorer. However, it seems his search for the same will not end with Zirkzee.
Joshua Zirkzee ready to pick Manchester United over Arsenal
According to CaughtOffside, Manchester United have reached an agreement on personal terms with Joshua Zirkzee.
Viewed as one of the hottest strikers in the transfer market, owing to his immense physicality and exceptional technical ability for a number nine, Zirkzee has attracted interest from many clubs, including Arsenal and AC Milan.
Earlier this summer, it appeared Milan are leading the race for the Netherlands international, who scored 11 goals in Serie A last season. However, their inability to strike an agreement with Bologna has opened doors for the Red Devils to take the lead.

The report adds that after convincing Zirkzee to move to Old Trafford, United are now in talks with Bologna to understand ‘how they would prefer Zirkzee’s £34m release fee to be paid.’
It is also being claimed that Zirkzee is so keen to join fellow Dutchman Erik ten Hag’s project that he will rebuff any approach from Arsenal.
