Bayern Munich join surprise race for Manchester United forward
Marcus Rashford has reportedly attracted interest from Bayern Munich, Marseille and Paris Saint-Germain.
Bar their promising second-half performance against Brentford on Saturday, United have struggled going forward this season. Before the October international break, only Southampton had scored fewer Premier League goals than the Red Devils.
However, Rashford has been a rare bright spot, having impressed with his creativity and link up with Alejandro Garnacho.
The Englishman has been directly involved in seven goals in his 12 appearances this term. This resurgence in form has seemingly sparked interest from many top clubs for his services.

Paris Saint-Germain have been his long-term admirers and have previously attempted to sign him from Manchester United. They remain interested in the Englishman.
TEAMtalk further reveals that Bayern Munich and Marseille have joined PSG in the race for his signature. The Ligue 1 outfit signed Rashford’s ex-teammate Mason Greenwood from United this summer.
It is claimed that “should United give the green light for Rashford to leave, then Bayern Munich and Marseille would both be keen to explore a possible move.”
However, the Mancunian giants are keen on keeping their talisman at Old Trafford and it is understood club chiefs “would make any exit difficult.” United value his contribution to Erik ten Hag’s side and would prefer to hand him a new contract to extend his stay beyond 2028.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe reportedly hopes to see Rashford, who endured a difficult 2023/24 campaign, re-emerge as the “poster boy” of United.
Alejandro Garnacho, Amad Diallo, Rasmus Hojlund, and Joshua Zirkzee are all relatively experienced, as such it would make little sense for United to part ways with the 26-year-old star, who has been a regular fixture for them since making his debut under Louis van Gaal in 2015.
