Real Madrid could make move for Manchester United talent who Ten Hag didn’t play regularly

Real Madrid have set their sights on Manchester United talent Amad Diallo, as per reports in Spain.

Madrid perhaps have the best-attacking lineup in Europe, featuring exciting forwards like Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior, and Rodrygo.

However, apart from Mbappe, who was signed on a free transfer, Los Blancos have seldom invested in a big-name forward in recent years. Both Vinicius and Rodrygo were young prospects in Brazil when the Spanish giants decided to bring them to Europe.

Real have also placed their trust in youngsters like Arda Güler and Brahim Diaz, who have, on multiple occasions, shown they are capable of developing into elite options going forward.

Real Madrid monitoring Manchester United forward Amad Diallo – report

After finding success in their “policy of investing in young talents”, Real Madrid are watching Amad Diallo’s development with interest, as per Fichajes.

The Spanish outlet claims the Manchester United winger is on Madrid’s radar ahead of next summer, when he could “become an irresistible market opportunity.”

The 22-year-old, who has scored three goals and assisted once this term, is tied to United until 2025. If his contract situation remains unchanged, his signing, without a large outlay, could prove to be “an attractive opportunity” for Madrid.

Further, the fact Amad is capable of playing in multiple positions across the frontline makes him an even more suitable option for Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.

However, the highly-rated Ivorian, who was signed by United from Atalanta in the summer of 2021, has enjoyed a relatively promising season at Old Trafford despite his struggles under former boss Erik ten Hag.

As such the Red Devils are unlikely to let him leave without a fight. In the recent past, Madrid have shown interest in David de Gea and Paul Pogba, but failed to sign either of the two from United.
