Jadon Sancho’s Camp Think His Move To Manchester United Is A “Done Deal”
Jadon Sancho’s potential transfer to Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund is heating up.
The Premier League giants are believed to be in an active negotiation with their German counterparts to secure the signing of Sancho this summer.
As per Sky Sports, United have already made their first proposal for the 21-year-old worth around £75m including add-ons. Dortmund, however, are looking to get closer to £86m including add-ons. Despite the difference in their respective valuations, both clubs remain in talks.
Jan Aage Fjortoft’s latest update is even more positive, with the former Norwegian player and now journalist tweeting: “Team Sancho thinks this is a ‘done deal’.”
While ‘Team Sancho’ thinks his proposed return to Manchester is a ‘done deal’, sources in Dortmund’s camp expect confirmation during the next week.
Regardless, the situation is clearly different from last summer’s transfer window, where both clubs refused to budge, with some reports hinting the official talks never took place.
Earlier today, Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that agreement with the England international’s representatives over his wages and agents fee is already reached.
All in all, it seems ‘Jadon Sancho to Manchester United’ is a matter of when, not if. The Red Devils next bid is likely to seal the deal and end the transfer saga that’s been running since Sancho departed City in 2017.
