Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho have gone into fan mode following Manchester United’s agreement to sign Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Portuguese seemed to be set for a move to Manchester City up until late afternoon on Friday. As soon as United entered the picture, the Sky Blues pulled out and from then on the situation accelerated.

The Red Devils have officially announced an agreement to sign Ronaldo just hours after beginning their pursuit of him. As things stand, the veteran is set for a return after 12 years.

Naturally, fans are incredibly excited as their expectations have been exceeded beyond realistic boundaries. But this transfer is so significant that two Red Devils have also started fanboying on social media.

Rashford seemed to have been left speechless as he got reduced to just three unique words to describe his feeling.

 

The England international is a huge admirer of the former Real Madrid star and idolises him. Clearly, he is excited about having presented with the opportunity to play with his real-life inspiration.

Meanwhile, Sancho’s reaction seems to be a mix of shock and glee as he described the scenes as scary.

 

The young forwards now have the opportunity and privilege to play alongside one of the greatest players of all time. The Portuguese international’s influence will be very good in nurturing the Mancunians’ future superstars like Sancho and Rashford.

Moreover, the 36-year-old’s experience and wisdom will be a great asset to the whole squad, especially as they are aiming to get the club back to the top. Simply put, there are very few who know how to lead a club back to the top like Ronaldo does.
