Amad Diallo’s Next Club: Manchester United Agree ‘Deal In Principle’ For Loan

Feyenoord have made significant progress in their bid to sign Amad Diallo on loan from Manchester United.

The Eredivisie side have agreed a deal in principle with the Premier League giants for a loan until June 2020, Jonathan Shrager has reported.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been open to send Amad to another club in order to not stifle the development of a talent signed with big expectations from Atalanta last season.

The Theatre of Dreams is blessed with an embarrassment of riches in attack, further amplified by the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho. As such, the 19-year-old will benefit from regular game-time elsewhere instead of just training with high-profile stars at Carrington for the entirety of the campaign.

But the United boss is wary of only sanctioning a move to the right place for Amad, rather than shipping out just another wing-option for the sake of trimming down his squad.

Several Championship teams, including Sheffield United were interested in signing the Ivorian but it seems the Dutch outfit have successfully convinced the Red Devils to allow their highly-rated winger to ply his trade in Netherlands for a year.

However, as per Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the deal is yet to be completed, with both clubs waiting for a ‘green light’ from Amad before announcing the move.
