Manchester United are willing to listen to offers for Anthony Martial during the upcoming transfer window.

Since the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho, the Frenchman has fallen far below the pecking order.

With Ronaldo kicking off his second spell in stellar fashion whilst Martial is yet to contribute to a single goal so far this season, it is looking unlikely that he will become a regular feature any time soon.

Nevertheless, he is in line to start against West Ham in his side’s Carabao Cup clash this week. Although opportunities have been sparse this season, it is a perfect chance for the striker to make his case heard.

The France international is one of the players United are aiming to offload in the near future. According to Eurosport, the Red Devils value the forward – who would be open to joining a Premier League rival – around £40m.

United have reportedly informed the player’s representatives that their client will be allowed to leave in January if a fair offer arrives.

The AS Monaco man would rather stay and fight for his place. But that seems like a distant dream as he is below Mason Greenwood, Edinson Cavani, Sancho, Ronaldo and most likely Marcus Rashford after his eventual recovery in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s pecking order.

Barcelona are said to be interested in the Red Devil, but are not expected to make an approach until next summer, which could be why Martial is open to joining even a league rival.

Nevertheless, there is no exit door available until the winter transfer window. The 25-year-old can use this period to either show Solskjaer he can still offer something to his plans or advertise him for any potential buyers in the market.
