Anthony Martial has held talks with Ralf Rangnick over his future, with Sevilla interested in signing him on loan.

The Frenchman has grown frustrated with his role at Man Utd, finding himself in and out of the Starting XI due to high competition in the attacking department and persistent injury issues. He is sidelined with a knee injury and is yet to make an appearance under the new interim boss.

As per the Daily Mail, Martial wants a move away and is keen to join La Liga outfit Sevilla. On Wednesday, he was at Carrington to discuss his future with the German.

Earlier this month, his agent Philippe Lamboley revealed the 26-year-old star’s wish to depart Old Trafford.

Rangnick has insisted he won’t try and convince players to stay at United, and is unlikely to stand in Martial’s way to reignite his career elsewhere. Edinson Cavani is another forward linked with a January move to Barcelona.

With Martial and Cavani seemingly on the way out, the Red Devils might have to look for a new addition.

United have been monitoring River Plate forward Julian Alvarez, but no talks have taken place as of now. Further, it was reported on Tuesday that Rangnick is pushing for United to sign Erling Haaland next summer.

As such, the likes of Anthony Elanga and Amad Diallo could accumulate more senior minutes during the rest of the season in case of high profile exits in the winter window.
