‘He’s Dead?’ Man City Mocked On Twitter For Gundogan Tribute
Gundogan picked up an injury in a 2-0 victory over Watford, which has now been confirmed as a curate knees ligament injury, and the German international will miss rest of the 2016-17 season.
To support their teammate, Manchester City players walked out for the game against Arsenal wearing shirts with Ilkay Gundogan’s name and number.

How bad must Kompany be feeling? He's been injured for 3yrs & nobody cared to have a tribute for him!
Gundogan gets it with his 1st injury!

Inspired by the Gundogan shirts today, tomorrow I'll be wearing a "DAVE" t-shirt into work. Poor lad has the sh*ts, he says.

Leroy Sane scores and reveals a t-shirt emblazoned "In memory of Ilkay Gundogan". Class act, pure class.

Impeccably observed 45 minutes silence from the fans for Gundogan in that first half.

When your mate can't go out with the lads because he promised his girlfriend he'd take her to see some awful romcom #Gundogan #MCFCvAFC pic.twitter.com/DVAX0P73b0

One for Arsenal fans:
Lots of stick for City's Gundogan tribute, but Arsenal have let some guy in an 'OZIL 11' shirt run around on the pitch!

And finally reaction from the man himself:
