Juventus Interested In Real Madrid’s Toni Kroos
Italian champions Juventus are planning a move to land Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos in a £76m deal.
Italian news outlet Tuttosport claims Juventus are prepared to make a Gonzalo Higuain-esque bid for Toni Kroos.
It is understood that Juventus manager Max Allegri considers Kroos as the perfect replacement for Andrea Pirlo – a playmaker who can dictate tempo from deep.

The newspaper rumours in Italy claim that Juventus will attempt to land the Real Madrid star despite the German international signing a new long term contract in October to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu club.

Toni Kroos joined the Spanish side from Bayern Munich in 2014. He has been part of Real Madrid’s success in the past three years, playing around 120 games in that period. The German also won the Champions League with Real Madrid in 2016.
Since Kroos has signed a new long term contract with the European Champions, it will be difficult for Juventus to sign him any time soon. Moreover, it is also understood that Real Madrid have put a massive release-clause of £255m for their midfielder.

However, Spanish outlet AS claims that Kroos’s market value stands around the £50m mark, and Juventus are ready to offer an extra £25m for him. However, in any case, a deal is more likely to be done in the summer.
Juventus are currently first in the Italian Serie A table, and they are looking to win their sixth consecutive league title.
