Brazilian Club Flamengo Put £30m Price Tag On Striker

It is not often that a club like Manchester United are made to try more than once for a player to join them, but Brazilian side Flamengo have made them consider doing so by rejecting their approach for teenage sensation Vinicius Junior.
According to reports in the Metro, Manchester United are among a large number of top European clubs to keep track of the 16-year-old, and were optimistically hoping to agree a first time deal with the club.
The young talent has been compared sensationally to the likes of Neymar, and has already found the back of the net four times in six appearances in the Copinha under-20 tournament this season – a place where the likes of Oscar and Neymar have set their careers up.

Flamengo have put a £30m price tag on their current young sensation to keep him protected from unwanted interests, and president Kleber Leite confirmed his club has rejected moving forward with United’s first time deal.
Leite claimed that Fred Luz, club director, told Manchester United representatives that a future deal would depend on the immediate payment of a sum, and that caused the Red Devils to head back and as of now not return.
The Red devils are currently at a phase where they do not only need to revamp their current squad, but they do need to build a foundation for the years to come, and hence, the acquiring of fresh raw talent is a priority for the Old Trafford outfit, and Vinicius may very well be a part of that plan in the near future.
