Lack Of Game Time May Force Marcus Rashford To Leave Man United
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho blocked Marcus Rashford’s loan move in January and now the youngster is frustrated due to the lack of game time under the Portuguese boss this season.
That’s according to The Times, who claim two clubs were keen to sign the United starlet.
Rashford burst into life under former Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal last season.
However, he has been struggling to have the same impact since Jose Mourinho took charge and he is delaying over a contract extension due to lack of opportunities and considering his options.
Rashford has just two of United’s last 12 Premier League fixtures this term, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic generally preferred through the middle.
The Times suggest Premier League rivals West Ham showed enough interest to sign the striker on loan last month. And they further claim La Liga club Sevilla were also willing to offer him the chance to play in Spain.

But Manchester United decided to turn down both of those offers and may once again block any move for Rashford this summer. Mourinho believes the 19-year-old is benefiting from the players’ technical meetings and this will help him to come out of the goal drought.
Despite United’s strong intention, the England youngster could yet opt to force an exit, with the lack of game time believed to be making him growingly frustrated.
Rashford was called up for England national squad for Euro 2016. But there is a possibility he may miss out on a place in Gareth Southgate’s plans for upcoming fixtures against Germany and Lithuania because of his peripheral role in Manchester.
