Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus Set To Return Before The End Of The Season
Manchester City‘s new signing Gabriel Jesus has calmed the nerves as he has claimed that he will be on the field in two months.
The 19-year-old Brazilian arrived at the Etihad this January and soon after his introduction, he took the league by storm. The 2016 Olympic gold medalist scored three goals in just four appearances, and in the process, he displaced Sergio Aguero from his first team spot.
The Brazilian started his fourth Premier League game in a row against Bournemouth, but unfortunately for him, he was limped off the field as he suffered a fracture to the fifth metatarsal in his right foot.
It was then reported that he will miss the remainder of the season, but a recent report from Daily Mirror has claimed that the Brazilian said he will be up in two months time.
A fan – on social media – asked the youngster about his potential return and the 19-year-old said: “When will I be back? Two months from now, God willing.”

The £27 million buy from Brazilian outfit Palmeiras, Jesus has been tipped as the next big thing. He defied all the odds with his exemplary performances. His brilliant form in front of the goal has lead to the rumours that Sergio Aguero might leave the club in coming summer.
Further, in the same aspect, both the manager and the player hasn’t delivered anything contract and if the report from ESPN – via Sun – is believed, then the former Atletico Madrid man has made up his mind and “wants to join Real Madrid at the end of the season”.
The 19-year-old, who was operated on by Guardiola’s favourite surgeon, Dr Ramon Cugat, in Barcelona, has been a key cog for the former Bayern Munich gaffer as his sheer pace and chemistry with his teammates have been prolific thus far.
Certainly a big loss for the Citizens, but he is on his way to recovery.
