Barcelona are growing desperate for additions in the summer transfer window and are now resigned to trying to lure Real Madrid star Isco out of the Bernabeu with an exciting offer this summer.

The Catalan giants have not been able to find consistency this season and might need some improvement in their squad to compete with the best next season. They have been linked with a number of star players recently but one player that they are close to signing is Spanish star Isco.

Currently playing for arch rivals Real Madrid, Isco is one of the most exciting players in Spain at the moment and at just 24, he is a star for the future.

However, he has not been able to settle into his time at the club and has made just 13 starts in the domestic campaign for Zidane’s side.

He is well below a few stars at the club in the pecking order and Barcelona want to add him to the short list of names that have swapped shirts between two of the best sides and biggest rivals in Europe including current Barcelona boss Luis Enrique.

According to Spanish radio station Rac 1, Barcelona have stolen ahead in the race of Isco’s signature over the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur who are all interested in his services.

It is also understood that have offered Isco a signing-on bonus of £17.3 million but on one interesting condition.

The Spanish play maker will be out of a contract in 2018 and Barcelona are happy to offer the star all his wages and bonuses if he joins the club on a free after his contract with the Bernabeu comes to an end.

This will mean that the midfielder should stay at the Bernabeu for the entirety of the next season and should join Barcelona on a free transfer.

There are not many players who have made this switch but do you think Isco will join Barcelona in the future?
